I just completed a major home rennovation and have been very pleased with the reults. As with all home improvement project, the foundation of the project is important. Things like structure, quality of construction and design planning all have a big effect on the final product. While I know those things are important, I have found that the most important decisions I made that had a direct impact on the appearance of the final product were the lighting choices and wall color choices. These choices can make or break a room. For my re-model I went with Hampton Bay lighting. The first piece is the centerpiece of my entryway. This is a relatively expensive light but it is in a prime location in my home. The modern design and unique glass work definately provied fodder for conversation immediately when guests enter my home. I have always thought that if you are going to do something go all out and this light is quite the piece. It features 18 lights with glass leaves jutting out from the center. It is a perfect accent to a wide variety of wall colors and gives plenty of light to my entryway. If this is too much light there is a smaller, 6 light version for smaller spaces or when less light is desired.

My kitchen was remodeled to be very modern. I went for european inspired design and stainless steel finishes. To that end I wanted something that was both modern and understated. I settled on these four light pendants in satin nickel finish pictured at right. They are a perfect blend of modern and minimal and with the GU10 LED lights I use in them they draw minimal power. I have had many people complement the lighting in my kitchen and these lights are one of the centerpieces. They will serve you well for years to come.

I went with minimal recessed lighting in my dining room. The space is built around a beautiful dining room table and elaborate center piece that has been passed through my family. The lights pictured at right are simple and beautiful. I have 8 of them in my dininr room hooked to dimmers and hav had no issues. They have Tiffany glass and a golden bronze finish and are a far cry from traditional recessed lighting. They add a bit of sophistication without overpowering and they come at a great price.

 The final entry on the list of Hampton Bay lighting that I love is a light set that goes in my front yard.  These solar powered LED landscape lanterns are beautiful and extremely easy to install.  Just put them in the ground in a place that gets sunlight and you are done!  They charge throughout the day and light up your yard throughout the night.  I have three sets spaced out along my sidewalk and they look great!  Really adds a final touch that gives visiting guests a great first impression.  Take a look at the lights listed at right for the best possible price.
